Space Slugs and Star Destroyers

So as it may happen, the cave we hid in turned out to be a Space slug. Well after the Princess spotted what we later decided was a mynock and we went outside to investigate, Hansolo decided to test a theory. He was right. So after a quick escape from a Space slug's gullet and after what little I repaired we flew back into the fray. With TIE fighters waiting for us we turned full about and charged right at a Star Destoryer, we finally lost them by convincing them we had jumped to hyperspace.

So now here we are, limping along in space with no functioning hyperdrive, not my fault, and heading towards Bespin to see Landocalrissian. It's dark and quiet in the ship as we slowly move along and I have said it before but I have a bad feeling about this.

Hide and Seek but with Explosions

Greetings

It has been a trying time for all of us. It was not long ago we were still on Hoth and now we are playing hide and seek in an asteroid field with Star Destoyers. I'll go over the story from where I left off.

After the Rebels found my friends Hansolo and Lukeskywalker, they we were reunited with us at the Echo Base. Lukeskywalker had hurt himself badly in the snow and by one of the ice creatures, I believe we started calling them Wampas, and he had to be rushed to the medical bay. I recall watching with the Princess Leiaorgana as he was dipped into a large tank of bacta. I do not like bacta, it is much to sticky and causes my coat to get into knots when it dries. Friend Lukeskywalker was soon recovering the bay when we decided to visit him. I had arrived with friend Hansolo and he and the Princess soon began to argue and the Princess kissed Lukeskywalker, it made Hansolo very jealous and I could not help but laugh. To which he replied, "Laugh it up, Fuzzball." I quickly silenced since I did not have a decent comeback.

Later that day we picked up the signal of an Imperial Probe droid that had to be hunted down by myself and Hansolo. We search in the snow and quickly found it. I decided to distract it first being the brave wookiee, that and my gun froze. Wookiee bowcasters were not meant for the cold Hoth temperatures. I poked my head up from behind a snow drift and howl a battle cry. It turned towards me and fired Hansolo hit it from behind and to my surprise it exploded! It caused me to get momentarily depressed. I had wanted to fire a round or two at the droid at least. Hansolo figured that it must've had a self-destruct code. We trudged back to base in the cold snow and reported to the commanders. We also gussed that the Empire would be here soon with the destruction of their droid and the pictures it took of me.

I knew the only reason the Empire would show was because of this handsome Wookiee. A battle ensued, a battle that I was not able to take part in because Hansolo had negleted his duty to help me several times in repairing the ship. So I was stuck in a last minute bid to repair the ship while the base collapsed around me. Well to wrap it all up nicely we escaped at the last second from the Darthvader. That's right, the Darthvader. They sent him to bring me in. So we got off of Hoth and none too soon, only to run into the problem of a non fuctioning hyperdrive. So now after a chase through an asteroid belt we end up here in a dank cave. Well I have repairs to finish and Hansolo has requested I take the "Professor" in back to have him speak with the ship.

Kashyyyk doesn't have snow

On Kashyyyk we don't have snow, it is that simple. I understand that we Wookiee types have our nice thick coats for just such occasions for planets just such as Hoth but I once again must state that I hate the snow. Repairs have been furthered on the ship today and she might even be spaceworthy soon. Today has been very troubling for me. My friend Hansolo returned from his ride out on the snowy tundra and I had to howl at him to aid me in the repairs. I told him that I don't know the exterior workingd like he does and he agreed to help but first he had to go to the command center to talk to the Princess Leiaorgana.

When he returned he was very frustrated and was grumbling something about me kissing the Princess, I am not sure in the slightest of what that may concern but he was frusrtated none the less. We set to work on the ship and Hansolo scolded me for assembling a bit of the ship incorrectly. I growled at him loudly and we began to fight until the golden protocol droid C-3PO arrived looking for Hansolo, while working I listened in on the conversation, eager to know what the commotion was about. It seems Seethreepio was sent by the Princess to inquire about Friend Lukeskywalker. "Princess Leia is wondering about Master Luke. He hasn't come back yet. She doesn't know where he is." The droid stated. To which friend Hansolo responded that he didn't know where Lukeskywalker was either. "Nobody knows where he is." Seethreepio responded matter of factly. This made Hansolo and myself very worried. While Hansolo went to investigate I stayed behind to work on the ship.

When Hansolo did not return for quite awhile I decided to take a short rest and look into where he had gone. It seemed that without me, his trusted compaion and life-debt bearer, he had ventured off into the bitter cold to look for Lukeskywalker who hadn't turned up for sometime. I became angry and was about to throw the deck officer for not alerting me sooner when I decided that if it came to throwing people there were beings higher in rank that I might throw. I set the deck officer down and patted his head in apology and went back to work on the Falcon.

Now it is the night time on Hoth, its temperature has dropped significantly and I worry more and more. Neither Hansolo nor Lukeskywalker have returned from the bitter cold wilderness. I stood at the door for what seemed like hours waiting for a sign from my friends. When the doors had to be closed for night I raised my head and howled in sorry, the Princess Leiaorgana was there and she too worried for my human friends. She is a nice human, although I remeber when we met and she called me a walking carpet and do not recall the memory with constant fondness. She went to her quaters and I to the ship but I cannot sleep, so I journal instead. I will be ready and alert in the morning. Either tonight my life-debt ends and I lose two honor brothers or the show me how adapt and crafty human beings can be.

Home is where the ship is

We've been on Hoth for too long, says my friend and parter Hansolo, he has finally made the decision that we are to leave soon to repay the debt we have accumulated. That is provided that the ship is spaceworthy. It is in great disrepair and I have put many hours into its reconstruction. While I work my good friends Hansolo and Lukeskywalker are marking the terrian. I assume Hansolo is only doing it because of the regret he feels for leaving the Rebels here.

He is to return soon and help me in my repairs, it is not a one Wookiee job and I would wish for the help since sadly no droids can be spared to help me, not a technician. Hansolo also knows the ship much better than myself and would be the better choice for making repairs, for all I know part of the ship could be on fire right now. Nay, part of the ship is on fire.

Shows what you know

After my escapede with the strange ghost of a small human child, my friend HanSolo told me to stop being such a "Big furry baby" and get back to working in the hanger. Today I did something about it. I did some research with the droid C-3PO and figured out that while we don't know if anyone planned to colonize Hoth we sure don't know where this base come from and the whole place has an odd smell.

Well today I did something about it. While staying completly alert and brave I...ok I was hiding under the boarding ramp and waiting. Anyway I waited around for the ghost child to appear and tell me what to do. The small human girl appeared and I reluctantly approached her. She smiled at me and my fear seemed to drift away. She then pointed to the wall and I felt the urge to run away again when she moved through it, but I stayed and tried to force the wall down. A construction droid trottled over to me and requested that I stop removing the wall of the hanger. I promptly picked him up and tossed him across the bay.

It took a bit and a couple droids being tossed across the bay before I managed to break through and part of me wished I had not done so. I was not prepared for the sight that awaited me. Behind the wall was sitting one of these large Ice Creatures that had recently been responsible for the killing of a few Tauntauns and around it were piles and piles of bones and most looked like human ones. The girl appeared again and pointed to the roof of the cave which hung more skeletons. The creature spotted me and promptly charged, I was unarmed and hastly decided to grab a large stelagmite on the cave floor. I hurled it at the beast and the awesome flow of life in the galaxy must have guided my hand. The beast went down and shook the cave as it hit the floor.

He did manage to scrape me before he fell and I suddenly felt it. I decided I would visit the medical wing after I followed the ghost girl again and she pointed to a shining piece of metal on the cave floor covered in ice. I broke the ice and picked it up, it was a small metal bracelet and clearly belonged to the girl. She waved to me and smiled then was gone. No one I am sure will believe this story but I know that it happened and the bracelet proves it, shows what everyone else knows. No such thing as ghost eh?

No Such Thing As Ghosts?

Greetings

Hoth is still very cold and I am not enjoying its climate. Today I am recovering from a strange sight. I have been to the lower forests of my homeworld and have faced great fears, but this morning I am not proud to say that I locked myself into the hold of the Millenium Falcon.

My story is as follows: While tooling around with the hull and landing ramp of the Millenium Falcon my ears perked up at the sound of a voice. A hollow sound, much like that of a human girl. I turned and looked around but there was no one in the hanger but me. I continued to work when I heard the sound again, this time when I turned around out of the corner of my keen eye I spotted a small human girl. I blinked and when I looked again she was gone.

Now, it brings me much joy when I remember that I was alone in the hanger because I screamed like the aforementioned human girl. Hopefully my shriek was not heard by anyone because I am not always fond of ripping the arms from friendly beings and droids but should the need arise...that is I locked myself in.

It took quite some time before I was convinced to exit the ship's hold and was scolded by my friend HanSolo but he only learned of my story from the droid C-3PO, perhaps it is time that I removed his arms or perhaps reprogram him to believe he is a moisture vaporator. In the meanwhile I still have repairs that need to be done and I am not looking forward to leaving the ship...it's cold and I do not like small human ghost children.
